All programs meet at Rosenwald  community center, unless stated otherwise.  Preregistration required for all classes, but participants may start any time.

Cheerleading I
This beginner cheerleading program is designed to teach the fundamental skills needed for cheerleading routines. Participants will learn arm motions, jumps, and cheers needed to perform cheerleading skills. The classes will also emphasize the importance of regular exercise as a lifetime habit, as well as teaching stretching and exercises to increase flexibility. Each child will receive a set of pompoms and a routine booklet during the first class. Please dress appropriately for activity.

All Cheerleading I classes are held on Thursdays, from May 11-June 15 .  The fee is $30/ child/ 6 week session.

Cheerleading I (3 1/2-5 yr. olds) 
  • 5:00-5:30 p.m.
Cheerleading I (6-9 yr. olds)
  • 5:40 p.m.- 6:10 p.m.

Cheerleading II

This cheer class is aimed towards girls who have had a brief introduction to cheer, and who have had some previous experience with cheer moves. However, this will still be geared towards overall beginners. We will have a brief review of basic cheer components and will then focus on learning a couple of cheers, as well as 1-2 cheer dances to go along with music. Pom-poms and booklets will be provided. Please dress appropriately for activity.

3 on 3 Basketball Tournament

Teens and adults can get together for a fun afternoon and test out their basketball skills at this informal competition. Winning team gets 3 Zeus movie tickets.

Terrific Teens

This new program is for middle-school aged girls who are interested in spending their afternoons mentoring younger children for a while, and then having some age-appropriate fun cooking, crafting, getting fit, and participating in special activities focusing on health, beauty, and friendships. Preregistration is required.

Kids' Klub

The program will feature a special activity, along with opportunities to participate in various stations of your choice, including: craft projects, games, construction and occasional cooking, and fitness activities. Parent's are encouraged to stay.
