Planning on participating? Fill out the Participant Registration Form and bring your payment to the Parks & Recreation office or pay with a credit card and register online! It's that easy.

Payment is due at time of registration and is non-refundable (unless the trip is cancelled).

All of the trips leave from Rosenwald Community Center unless indicated otherwise.

Roanoke Trip

Get out and take a little adventure to check out two of Roanoke's best destinations. Savor the deliciousness fond on the menu at the classic Hotel Roanoke. After lunch a quick walk will deposit you at the steps of the most unique building of the Roanoke skyline, the Taubman Museum of Art. Take in the gallery or if art's not your thing, do a little shopping in the downtown district. Registration includes van transportation only.

Brew Ridge Trail Trip

Drink up the Best Nelson County has to offer! Four stops. Four distinct tastes. Blue Mountain, Wild Wolf, Devils Backbone, and Bold Rock. Check out the offerings at each. Registration includes mini-bus transportation only.

Cherry Blossom Festival / National Zoo

Bring the whole family and enjoy the sights and sounds of Washington DC in the Spring. You decide where you want the Quick’s bus to drop you off... Choose between the Mall area where the family can enjoy the Cherry Blossom Festival, the Smithsonian, several monuments, the      Capital, or the Tidal Basin (all within walking distance). Or... you can get off at the National Zoo stop, where you can spend the day observing 100's of different kinds of animals. The fee includes bus transportation only (Smithsonian and Zoo are FREE!)

Come with us and spend the day at 
Baltimore's Inner Harbor. You may choose to go to the Baltimore Aquarium, go shopping at the Harborplace and the Gallery, go to the Baltimore Maritime Museum, the Mary Science Center, Fort McHenry ,the Port Discovery Children’s Museum, or you may even want to take a boat ride...And of course, there plenty of restaurants with delicious fresh seafood. You decide how to spend your day, and we'll take care of the driving... The fee includes bus transportation only.
