You may register for trips online, in person, or by phone. 

Payment is due at the time of registration and is non-refundable (unless the trip is cancelled).

All of the trips leave from Rosenwald Community Center unless indicated otherwise.

Important Notice

Parks and Recreation will be transitioning to an online registration system for all of the programs we offer. Beginning May 1, you may begin to see a links to register or view a catalog. The first time you register in this new system you will be required to set up an account. 
You will be able to sign into your account using your email address and a password or by using your existing Facebook or Google account. It is fast and easy.

The account will allow you to store your information as well as that of your other family members. This will allow you to easily sign up anyone in your family for the programs they desire with a click of a button. You will also be able to go into your account and verify the classes and times you selected and get instant access to your receipts. Baltimore Inner Harbor

Come with us and spend the day at 
Baltimore's Inner Harbor. You may choose to go to the Baltimore Aquarium, go shopping at the Harborplace and the Gallery, go to the Baltimore Maritime Museum, the Mary Science Center, Fort McHenry ,the Port Discovery Children’s Museum, or you may even want to take a boat ride...And of course, there plenty of restaurants with delicious fresh seafood. You decide how to spend your day, and we'll take care of the driving... The fee includes bus transportation only.

Lewis Ginter & the Virginia Museum of Fine Art

Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden will be in full bloom as you stroll through the garden paths. Check out the Butterflies LIVE! Exhibit with a butterfly release at 10am. Grab lunch at Robin's Tea Room or the Garden Cafe before heading to see the extensive collections of the VMFA. Fee includes van transportation and botanic garden admission only. Lunch on own.

Waynesboro Water Trail Trip

Enjoy this 4-mile guided paddle down the South River. The trip will start at Ridgeview Park. You will ride the gentle currents past Rife Park, portage the Invista dams, and continue on past Constitution Park and Downtown. A feeling of wilderness takes over until you finish your trip at Basic Park. At the end of your journey you will be shuttled back to your starting point.

Our guide will help you navigate the river and portage your boat. You will spend about 2 hours on the water. 

Cost includes kayak, paddle, pfd/life jacket, guide, and shuttle.
