Hound Dog Hill
Hound Dog Hill is a six piece neo-traditional string band from the beautiful Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. Since 2003, Hound Dog Hill has been making music the traditional way, using all acoustic instruments and drawing their influence from the Shenandoah Valley's rich musical heritage. In the years they have been playing together, Hound Dog Hill has evolved into a high-energy Bluegrass and Old Time string band.

In the summer of 2007, Hound Dog Hill won several awards including First Place for Best Original Song at the Appalachian String Band Festival at Clifftop, West Virginia, as well as Second Place Neo-Traditional Band. In the summer of 2008 the band was awarded First Place Old Time Band at the 15th Annual Glen Maury Fiddlers’ Convention at Buena Vista, Virginia.

Sun Dried Opossums
Sun Dried hails from the Shenandoah Valley at the foot of Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains. Formed in 1997, SDO is a 5-piece band writing songs that are true to their roots. Their music is best described as Rock 'n Roll, heavily influenced by Southern Rock & Blues with exciting improvs (Allman Brothers, Drive By Truckers). The band is renowned for their high-energy live performances. Surprise audience members have occasionally asked if they could join SDO on stage. Two such favorites are Oteil Burbridge (Allman Brothers Band) and Bill McKay (Leftover Salmon).

Sun Dried has opened shows for Mofro, Heartless Bastards, Project Object, Donna The Buffalo, The Wailers, Joe Bonamassa, Carbon Leaf, Tony Trischka, and more. On August 15th, 2004 they warmed up the side stage crowd for The Dead show at Nissan Pavilion. On July 15th, 2005 they played side stage for Allman Brothers & moe. at Verizon Wireless Virginia Beach Amphitheatre.

The Findells
Rock 'n' roll music has always been about having fun, first and foremost, and Staunton's own Findells have never shied away from that. The Fins have been playing to packed houses in Virginia for years, in fact, they've had so much fun for so long that the band has celebrated over 30 years of making music together. The energy is infectious, the lyrics intelligent and thoughtful, and the music is passionately delivered. These guys (and two girls) know rock 'n' roll and they offer it honestly, defying rock star pretensions and absolute categorization. This music crosses the age barriers- immediately engaging to young listeners and poignant to discerning ears.
