Any item placed on the consent agenda shall be removed and considered as a separate matter, if so requested by any member of Council, otherwise all items will be voted on with one (1) motion.

Approval of Minutes:

Consider adopting the minutes for the July 24, 2017 Regular Business Meeting, and dispense with the reading of the minutes. 
2.b.

Code Amendment – Ward A Voting Location Change:

Second consideration/adoption of an ordinance amending Chapter 1, General Provisions, Section 1-13(a)(1) Election Districts, Voting Places, of the Code of the City of Waynesboro authorizing the relocation of the Ward A voting location from 133 N. Delphine Avenue to 489 N. Winchester Avenue, Waynesboro, Virginia.

Dooms Fire Department Donation:

Second consideration/adoption of an ordinance appropriating permit fees in the amount of $2,285 to the General Fund, for a donation to the Dooms Volunteer Fire Company.

4.a.

Preliminary Subdivision Plat Request – Claybrook Associates:

Hold a public hearing to receive comments and consider introducing an ordinance amending the preliminary subdivision plat for a 67-lot residential subdivision on a 30.847 -acre residual tract at 6001 Ivy Street, Waynesboro, Virginia, Tax Map 14-6-25A, previously approved on February 23, 2004. Request increases the approved lots from 67 to 98 and is submitted by Roudabush, Gale & associates, Inc., agent for Claybrook Associates LLC, owner.

Code Amendment - Revised Subdivision Ordinance:

 Hold a public hearing to receive comment and consider introducing an ordinance amending Chapter 74, SUBDIVISIONS, of the Code of the City of Waynesboro.

Amendment to Pelham Meadows Public Improvement Agreement:

Consider adopting a resolution to amend the Pelham Meadows subdivision agreement previously adopted by resolution of the City Council on January 10, 2005.

Human Resources - Grievance and Military Leave Policies:

Receive a presentation from Ms. Nichole Nicholson, Human Resource Director, regarding amendments and updates to the Grievance and Military Leave Policies for the City of Waynesboro.
6.b.

Police Department – Skyline Drug Task Force:

Presentation on the work and accomplishment of the Skyline Drug Task Force provided by Captain Michael Martin, Waynesboro Police Department.

Fund Balances and Reserves:

Presentation on the City’s various Fund Balances and Reserves by Jim Shaw, Deputy City Manager.

Library Board and WRHA Reappointments:

a) Library Board of Trustees:  Consider reappointing a member to the Library Board of Trustees for a four-year term ending August 31, 2021.
b) Redevelopment and Housing Authority Board of Trustees:  Consider reappointing two members to the Redevelopment and Housing Authority Board, each for a four-year term ending August 31, 2021.
