The Building & Zoning Department is responsible for the application of Waynesboro’s minimum standard for new construction, the local zoning ordinance and regulations and the minimum property maintenance or housing standards. Composed of three enforcement divisions, the Department plays an important role towards the community’s general public safety, welfare and quality of life for Waynesboro citizens and visitors.
