Valley Music Academy, a non-profit music school, provides high quality music education to children and adults of Waynesboro, Staunton, and Augusta County. Private instruction is offered in voice, piano, brass, flute, violin, viola, cello, saxophone, clarinet, and drums.  Other programs include Musikgarten, which develops a child's (birth to age 9) inborn joy and talent for music making; Valley Voices, a children's choir for students in grades 1 -7 and Jazz Ensemble an opportunity for middle and high school students to achieve literacy in different jazz styles and perform in a small group setting.
