Free and confidential counseling is available through both the local Small Business Development Center and the local SCORE chapter.  Assistance includes, but is not limited to, business plan counseling, financing options, and other valuable information.

The Virginia Department of Business Assistance provides customized recruiting and training services to companies creating new jobs or experiencing technological change. Possible incentives include consulting services, organizational development, electronic media services, and funding for training and recruitment.
