Blue Ridge Community College (www.BRCC.edu) offers a variety of courses designed to address the workforce development needs of local employers.

The Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center at Blue Ridge Community College is one of the newest additions to the campus.  The building is designed to provide hands on experience in a variety of applications and the curriculum provides the classroom experience needed to succeed in today’s manufacturing environment.

 The building construction was completed last fall and is lab intensive…7 labs in all.   Each lab is equipped with state of the art equipment for manufacturing, design, and electronics.  They have recently acquired a robotic arm and a 3d plastic prototype printer.   It also includes a manufacturing lab simulator, a CNC machine, and a series of manufacturing training modules.
