What's New Lollipop Bouquet Say it sweetly by making a lollipop bouquet on Thursday, February 9 at 6 pm. Participants bring 5 or more lollipops and a gift mug. Other supplies will be provided. Registration required. Click here for a bouquet example. Warm up with a good book Join the Winter Reading Program by picking up a reading log and read 30 picture books or 300 chapter book pages. Prizes are awarded for completed logs. Continues through January. Playaway Views are now available Education meets entertainment with the first all-in-one video player! Playaway View is pre-loaded with a video so your kids can view great content whenever and wherever. WPL’s players include video from PBS Kids, National Geographic, Sesame Street and more. Book and magazine donations to the library are not being accepted unitl after renovations are finished. Culture Pass Your pass to visit area culture venues is just a check-out away. This program offers discounts at Wayne Theater Alliance shows at the Gateway Theater, River City Radio Hour, Stone Soup Books, The Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library & Birthplace, the Frontier Culture Museum, and the American Shakespeare Center. Click here for details. Change for Children Make a difference each time you collect a baby food jar full of change. Baby food jars are available at the front desk to take home, fill with change, empty into our big jar, and repeat as often as possible. Each jar emptied gets one chance in a drawing for like-new books from the Friends of the Library. Help Support WPL! WPL's coffee stand is back! Enjoy a cup of coffee for 75 cents. The stand is located beside the circualation desk. Donate used ink cartridges and cell phones to be recycled. The drop box is located beside the copier. Buy a gift set comprised of our sophisticated WPL travel mugs; note cards made by local photographer, Deb Booth; a reusable canvas bag; and a bumper sticker, all for only $20.
