Programs For Juvenile Offenders
The Office on Youth offers a variety of programs and services to court-involved youth. These services are designed to deter juvenile crime and provide alternatives to detention. Below, is an outline of services offered by the Office on Youth to individuals referred by Court Services Unit staff and Juvenile Domestic Relations Courts.

Monitoring Programs
  • Outreach Detention - in-home monitoring via a daily visit from an Outreach Worker 
  • Electronic Monitoring - in-home monitoring via an ankle bracelet 
  • Curfew Checks - random visits and contact after curfew to insure compliance 
  • Mentoring - juveniles are paired with an Outreach Worker who makes weekly visits and takes them on outings 
  • Surveillance Checks - random contacts made throughout the week to juveniles who are on probation or parole
