The Office on Youth provides a variety of teen activities to all youth residing in the City of Staunton, City of Waynesboro, and Augusta County. Activities have included pool parties, bicycle rodeos, flag football competitions, youth dances, Battle of the Bands, and Rock the Block parties.
Activities are
free and transportation is provided. Youth need to complete and have their parent or guardian sign a release form in order to be able to attend. To obtain a release form, please contact the Office on Youth or speak with your school guidance counselor.

Ice Skating |
Take a trip to Charlottesville to the Ice Park for an evening of ice skating. Dress warmly and bring a pair of gloves or mittens. |

Move & Pizza |
Have a date with us! Dinner and a movie. Pizza will be provided at the Nelson Street Teen Center prior to a trip to at the Staunton Regal Cinema for a movie. |
February |
Green Teen Day |
Dress yourself from head to toe in GREEN for an afternoon filled with fun. Enjoy air hockey, pool, ping pong, and foosball. Contests will go on throughout the afternoon. |
March |
Scavenger Hunt |
Free event held at Gypsy Hill Park. Learn some team building skills while working with a group to search high and low for clues. Prizes will be awarded. Snacks provided. |

Kids Matter Day |
Kids Matter Day is a FREE FAMILY EVENT designed to inform parents and guardians about ways to keep kids safe from abuse and other dangers while their children enjoy age-appropriate activities. There will be an opportunity to visit health/safety stations to obtain valuable information. Children must be accompanied by an adult. |

In a band and have what it takes? Your band could be the next winner! Local teen bands will compete to be crowned this year's best local band. |

End of school splash! Enjoy an afternoon of swimming with a D.J., dancing, and refreshments. |

Rock the Block |
This free party will be held at the Main St. Pavilion in Waynesboro. There will be a bike rodeo, skateboard/bike ramp, DJ, Climbing Wall, and more! Come out to join in the fun. |

Corn Maze |
Held at Augusta Military Academy near Fort Defiance High School. Team registration is at 6:45 pm. Flag football competion starts at 7:00 pm. First come, first serve. Prizes for the winning team. Bon Fire starting at 9 pm with music, games, activities, etc. |

Bowling |
Grand opening of the new Underground Cafe at the Nelson Street Teen Center in Staunton. Bike Rodeo, Teen Talent Competition, Karaoke, Comedy, Singing, Magic Tricks and more. Free coffee and snacks. |

T'was the Nite B4 Teen Holiday Party |
The Teen Holiday Party will be held at the Waynesboro Boys and Girls Club in the Teen Center. There will be food, games, music, prizes and crafts! |
