The Central Shenandoah Valley Office on Youth was the proud recipient of a $4,500 grant from The Community Foundation of the Blue Ridge. This grant will help the Office on Youth purchase much needed multimedia equipment for use in its parenting workshops. The purchase of this equipment is an essential component to reaching the goal of expanding parenting services in our community. This equipment will allow more classes to be offered, at more locations, to more parents.
The Community Foundation of the Blue Ridge is a 501(c)3 community organization that is dedicated to the management, growth, and distribution of funds as awards, scholarships, and grants to the local community each year. The mission of the Community Foundation of the Blue Ridge is to enrich the quality of life by responding to needs and inspiring philanthropy in our community.

Several of the programs provided by the OOY are sponsored in part by contributions of the United Way of Greater Augusta.
