Congratulations to the 2011 Park Piranhas Swim Team as they pulled off a clean sweep during the regular season to become 4-0 on the year.  They followed this accomplishment with a win at the Championship meet held at James Madison University and became the Blue Ridge Summer Swim League Champions for the first time in over 10 years!

The Waynesboro Parks and Recreation would like to thank all swimmers that came out to display their talents and have a tremendous season filled with lots of achievement, great team spirit and most of all, fun.  We also want to thank the parents of our swimmers as their help and continual service to the program is another reason why we had the success we had this year.

We also want to recognize our team of coaches led by Head Coach Abby Kirtz.  Coach Abby is very dedicated and is a true example of what a coach should be.  Her assistants were Katie Keefer and Scout McDevitt.  Both Katie and Scout demonstrate positive examples for all swimmers and bring great knowledge of swimming to the program.
