All classes will be held Monday through Thursday for two weeks (except for the week of July 4, when classes will be Tuesday thru Friday)
Class size: Min. 3 - Max 6

Swim Lession Descriptions:

Waterbaby (ages 2 and under): This class is designed to help enable a child to become accustomed to being in water. Skills to be taught: face in water, holding breath, opening eyes in water, etc. An adult must accompany each child in pool.

Tiny Tots (ages 2 – 4): This class is designed to help enable a child to become accustomed to being in water. Skills to be taught: face in water, holding breath, opening eyes in water, etc. An adult must accompany each child in pool.

Drylander (ages 4 to 12): This class is designed to help the child feel comfortable in water. Skills to be taught: face in water, blowing bubbles, jellyfish float, hold breath 10 seconds, and change positions.

Jellyfish (ages 5-12): This class teaches the child to swim, using front and back scull. Skills, to be taught: prone glide, back glide, jump and dive into deep water, etc.

Perch
(ages 5-12): This class will improve on previous strokes thru endurance and learn the back crawl. Skills to be taught: survival float, tread water one minute, crawl stroke 50 yards, back crawl 20 yards, etc.

Bass (ages 5-12): This class will improve endurance of previous strokes, learn breast stroke and elementary back stroke. Skills to be taught: same skills as Perch for extended times and distances.

Sailfish (ages 5-12): This class will improve endurance of previous strokes, and learn side stroke and butterfly. Skills to be taught: same skills as Bass for extended times and distances.

Teen Beginner (ages 13 -18): This class will teach the basic skills of swimming.

Adult Beginner (ages 19 and over): This class will teach the basic skills of swimming.
