The 50 meter War Memorial Pool and bathhouse offers the perfect opportunity for all members of your family to cool off from Memorial Day to Mid August.  Hours are subject to change.


To begin the season, the pool will be open the following dates: Saturday May 25, Sunday May 26, Monday May 27, Saturday June 1, Sunday June 2 & Sunday June 9. The pool will open for the rest of the season on Tuesdsay June 11 at noon.

11 am - 7:00pm Monday - Saturday
 1 pm - 7:00 pm Sunday

Please Note: Free swim is no longer offered

Fees:
Adult (16 and over) - $4.00
Youth (3-15) - $2.00
Baby (2 and under) – FREE
Family Pass - $130.00
Individual Pass - $60.00

Commonwealth Games of Virginia Swim Meet
This event is sponsored by the Waynesboro Parks and Recreation Department and the Shenandoah Marlins Aquatic Club. Please note that there will be no general admission swim during the meet. However, please feel free to come out and support the team!

When: June 21, 22 & 23
Where: War Memorial Pool (Ridgeview Park)
Time:  6:30am – 8:00pm each day

War Memorial Pool Rules

• No shirts
• No flotations allowed
• No rough play or dunking
• No running on pool deck
• No diving in shallow water
• No abusive of profane language
• No smoking in pool complex
• No glass allowed
• No alcohol allowed
• Only one person on board or latter at a time
• Make sure diving area is clear
• Only one spring on board is allowed
• No hanging on boards
• No inward dives/back dives
• No gainers/ back flips
• No diving to sides of the pool
• Leave diving well after each dive

Weather Policy

• Thunder:  30 minutes after the last sound
• Lightning: 45 minutes after the last sighting
• No Refunds for Inclement Weather
