The Field located at Basic Park is home to the Coed Softball League that begins in late April and continues through July.  The field surrounding the softball diamond also serves as the practice site for the Waynesboro Quarterback Club, which benefits Waynesboro’s youth.  Practice begins In August and continues through November.  Reservations to reserve the field for friendly day games or family reunions is highly recommended. The reservation fee is $40 before 2PM and/or $40 after 2PM.  Arrangements can be made by calling the Recreation office at (540) 942-6735.
