Family Fun Saturdays
Parent’s Night Out
This is a new program, offered to provide parents with a chance to drop their children off at Rosenwald for an evening of fun, age-appropriate activities while they can go out on a Friday night and relax. This program, for children between the ages of 3 and 12, will be well-supervised, and limited in size.

Need a little help with your homework? Retired school teacher Vickey Lawson has volunteered to provide assistance to students at Rosenwald.
- Tuesday and Thursdays
Make the most of your Monday by putting your hands and imagination to work to create Christmas ornaments and decorations, tin lanterns, clay projects, Zendoodles, and much more. This program will be instructed by Jane Stopha, who also teaches art at KCMS. Youth, ages 10 and older are welcome to participate in this free activity. Registration is recommended.

North Pole Express
The North Pole Postal Service has offered to help the children of Waynesboro to get their letters to Santa as fast as possible! Special Santa mail barrels will be in each of the City elementary schools and at the Rosenwald Community Center, December 1- December 19. Be sure that all letters have a return address on them so that Santa may send a reply!
Elves Workshop (for ages 5-11)
Kids will delight in counting down the time for Santa with lots of holiday oriented activities such as baking Christmas goodies, making special ornaments, playing reindeer games, and more! In addition, this workshop will provide parents with an opportunity to do some holiday errands, or simply enjoy some ‘down time’. There will be two sessions, and children staying for both are asked to bring a bagged lunch. Registration deadline: December 12.

- $7 per session (or $12 for both)

Jump Rope 101
Come join us and learn the basics of how to Jump Rope! We will work on individual footwork and skills, group routines, partner work, double dutch, and other long rope group activities. The last session will include a demonstration of skills for friends and family to see. Best of all, this class is FREE! All classes will be held at the Rosenwald Community Center and will last six weeks. Call 942-6735 to register. So come one, come all and join the jumping fun!

Let the music move you! This class will provide youth between the ages of 4-17 an outlet to learn new dances to gospel music. Some dances will be choreographed by the instructor,
but many will be put together by the students. Once established, the praise team will have opportunities to perform their routines in public. Instructor: Theosia Haywood

Shotokan Karate (ages 6 and older)
Participants, 6 years of age and older, will learn the basics techniques (kicks, stances, blocks, etc.) of Shotokan karate, during the 5 week session. Instructor: Ivan Pesic
