This facility is not available for rent on the following holidays or holiday weekends of: New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after, Christmas Day.

Meeting rooms within the Rosenwald Community Center are available for reservation free of charge to community non-profit organizations during normal business hours IF those rooms are not scheduled for other activities.  To schedule a room, please call the office at least one week in advance of your intended use. For-profit businesses will be charged for use.  During times when the building would otherwise be closed, the fee schedule will apply to all organizations and individuals.  (The exception would be for organizations whose programs are co-sponsored by the Waynesboro Department of Parks and Recreation)  A “Request for Use of Facility”  form needs to be completed and then approved by a Parks and Recreation staff.


The gym is also available on a rental basis on Saturdays and Sundays except on holidays or extended Holiday weekends

Gym Rental:          $20.00 per hour
Room Rental:        $20.00 per hour

Open Gym: 
The gym is usually open to area residents, free of charge, during designated hours as indicated on the calendar. (Please note however, that times/dates are subject to change.) Participants are asked to sign in with the building supervisor upon arrival, and to remember that appropriate shoes must be worn in the gym.
