The community center located at 413 Port Republic Road, houses the Department of Parks and Recreation's administrative offices, public meeting rooms, a gymnasium, arts and crafts rooms, pre-school rooms, dance room, exercise room, etc.

General operating hours are 8am–8pm, Monday through Thursday, and 8:00am to 5:00pm on Friday. The center is closed except for special activities and classes on Saturday and Sunday. Operating hours may vary seasonally.

Meeting rooms may be reserved during regular hours of operation and are available free of charge to non-profit organizations. To schedule a room, please call the office at least one week in advance of your intended use.

The gym and meeting rooms are available on a rental basis on Saturdays and Sundays except on holidays or extended Holiday weekends.
