The General Engineering Section of the Engineering Division is responsible for acting as in-house technical civil engineering consultants to Public Works and the City.

We provide project management services for Capital Improvement projects.  Additionally, we provide survey support and establish right-of-way. 

General Engineering prepares cost estimates, easement plats, and design/ field surveying for Public Works and Public Works Operations projects.  We review public improvement plans for private development, while providing analysis of water and sanitary sewer system capacities.
