What We Do . . .  

We install, repair and replace water main and service lines, valves, meters and fire hydrants.  This department also monitors and operates two wells and one spring, collects all compliance samplings as monitored through the Virginia Department of Health and the Office of Drinking Water in Lexington, Virginia.

The water fund is made up of the following areas of focus:

          ► Source Maintenance
          ► Line Maintenance
          ► Pump Station & Tank Maintenance
          ► New Line Construction
          ► New Wells
          ► Tanks and Pump Stations
          ► Public Works Customer Service (Formerly Utilities)
