Central Shenandoah Health District Weekly COVID-19 Update

What's new this week

We are in Phase 3 of the Forward Virginia plan.

The City of Waynesboro is committed to ensuring that all essential services necessary for public health and safety continue throughout the COVID-19 pandemic response. City services and facilities are currently operating under the Phase 3 reopening guidelines set forth by Gov. Ralph Northam.

COVID-19 Health & Safety Info

We encourage all residents to help reduce the spread of the coronavirus by following the health and safety guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control, including proper handwashing, wearing face coverings, and maintaining social distancing of at least six feet.

The Virginia Department of Health (VDH) provides a COVID-19 website with a comprehensive listing of information and resources on the novel coronavirus. Use the VDH symptom checker to see if you have COVID-19 symptoms, learn what to do if you are sick or if you have been exposed to the virus, find information about COVID-19 testing and testing sites, view data about virus cases in our area and the state, and learn what measures to take to protect yourself.
