The Internet Archive

The Internet Archive, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, is building a digital library of Internet sites and other cultural artifacts in digital form. Like a paper library, they provide free access to researchers, historians, scholars, the print disabled, and the general public.
Waynesboro Public Library has contributed 34 Volumes of The Skyline, the Waynesboro High School yearbook, to the Internet Archive.

The Virginia Yearbooks Digital Collection is an ongoing project in partnership with Virginia's local public libraries, LYRASIS, and IMLS to make public high school yearbooks available online. Browse here by county or city to find specific high school yearbooks.

The Deaf Culture Digital Library (DCDL) continues to develop and will see added resources from the Library of Virginia, such as the digitization of the Goodson Gazetter, published by the Virginia School for the Deaf and Blind, as well as a finding aid for all LVA holdings related to deaf history.
