Coyner Park Wooded Trail

Waynesboro Parks & Recreation operates a large park system which includes 6 parks and a number of facilities including a community center, pool, 1.2 miles of greenway, 4 miles of water trail, 9-hole disc golf course, soccer fields, diamonds, tennis courts, playgrounds, shelters, and trails. Numerous projects are also at various stages of conception and completion which will improve access and opportunities for all residents and visitors to our community. Parks are open to the public from dawn to dusk every day of the year with few exceptions.

Shelter Rentals

Shelters may be rented by the public to host private events* such as birthday parties, reunions, company picnics, and the like. Rental periods include morning or afternoon blocks for $40 each or all day for $75. Payment is due at the time of the reservation and is refundable (minus a $5 processing fee) only if cancellation notification is given in writing at least 10 business days from the scheduled event. The fee will be forfeited if notification is given less than 10 working days in advance.

To reserve a facility, you will be required to set up a Parks and Recreation account which will give you access to all of our facilities and programming. Once the account is set-up, you can reserve a facility. Receipts and permits will be emailed directly to you along with any additional information regarding your facility rental.
