War Memorial Pool
The 50-meter War Memorial Pool and bathhouse offers the perfect opportunity for all members of your family to cool off from Memorial Day to Mid-August. Hours are subject to change.

- The War Memorial Pool will open on May 25th for the 2019 Summer.
- The Pool will be closed on June 21, 22, and 23.
- Pool hours: Monday - Saturday 11am-7pm. Sunday 1pm-7pm
- Pool hours are subject to change as needed

Note: Free swim is no longer offered.
Pool Rules and Regulations
- No abusive of profane language
- No alcohol allowed
- No diving in shallow water
- No diving to sides of the pool
- No glass allowed
- No flotation devices in big pool
- No sitting on the walls in deep end
- Everyone must pay to enter the pool complex
- No hanging on boards
- No inward dives / back dives
- No rough play or dunking
- No running on pool deck
- No loose fitting (baggy) shirts
- No cotton t-shirts
- No smoking in pool complex
- Leave diving area after each jump
- Make sure diving area is clear before diving
- Only one person on diving board or ladder at a time
- Only one gather jump on board is allowed
- No flips, gainers, inward or backwards dives
- Other rules are subject to be enforced by lifeguards and Waynesboro Parks and Recreation staff
Weather Policy
- If it is lightning wait 45 minutes after the last sighting to reenter the pool
- If it is thundering wait 30 minutes after the last sound to reenter the pool
Note: No refunds for inclement weather.
