General Information

Throughout the year, Waynesboro Parks and Recreation offers a number of van and bus trips. Van trips are shorter trips, typically not more than an hour and a half away, and can accommodate a smaller number of people (8). Bus trips are slightly longer trips which can accommodate a much larger group (20 to 55). These commercial buses are equipped with a restroom and typically make a stop to eat and stretch your legs.

No matter which trip there is a minimum number of attendees each must have. If the minimum requirement is not met, trips may need to be cancelled. Encourage your friends and family to register for a trip as well to help ensure the minimum is met and everyone gets to enjoy the adventure. Should a trip be cancelled, all monies collected will be refunded. This is the only instance refunds will be issued.

Payment is due at the time of registration.

All trips leave from Rosenwald Community Center unless indicated otherwise in the description. The address for Rosenwald is 413 Port Republic Road, Waynesboro, VA 22980.

Vans and buses are available to board approximately a 1/2 hour prior to the departure. Please plan on arriving at least 15 minutes prior to the departure time indicated in the description. This will allow you plenty of time to park and board the vehicle. Trips will leave promptly at the designated time.
