'That Holiday Feeling' Christmas Reverse Parade

This year the parade will be very different from years past.  In order to comply with safety measures regarding COVID, the format of the parade will be switched around so that spectators will drive past parked floats in their cars.  This event will be part of the City-wide Christmas decorating trail, and the reverse parade will be set up on the evening of Saturday, December 12, from 6-8pm, in the old Invista parking lot.

Applications for floats may be submitted through Thursday, December 3. Please note there will be a limited number of spaces and participants on floats will need to follow CDC recommendations. (Please note that all parade participants on floats will need to wear a facemask and social distance.) To apply for the parade or the decoration trail, please complete the attached form:

'That Holiday Feeling' Decorations Trail

Everyone has been couped up for awhile now, and will enjoy a chance to get out and experience a little festivity.  Load up household members in the car, and set out to soak up 'That Holiday Feeling' in Waynesboro.  This program will run from Friday, December 4- Sunday, December 20, 6-8pm.

Folks that are going to decorate are encouraged to let us know (just complete the form in the link above) and we'll add your address on a master list/map.  That way everyone will know where to go to see decorations, and will get the benefit of enjoying your holiday efforts!

Residents, businesses, and civic groups are all encouraged to participate!
