The Engineering Division provides the following services to the City: Erosion & Sediment Control regulation management/compliance, Miss Utility (State utility locate program) regulation management/compliance, MS4 (Federal stormwater program) regulation management/compliance, management of the Inflow & Infiltration (I&I) consent order, management of the Stormwater and Flooding Commission, management of the Transportation Safety Commission (TSC), Stormwater CIP management, transportation engineering coordination & support, project management, survey/design for City projects, Right-of-Way permitting & management, Entrance permitting & management, development Plan Review, Public Works in-house technical consultanting, Mapping of City infrastructure (roads, storm sewer, water system, sanitary sewer), and technical support & overall management of the Water & Waste Water Treatment Plants (WTP & WWTP).
