Hackley's fifth album, Life Beyond the Pain, was released in 2018.

Originally from Oak Ridge, Tennessee, she currently resides in Roanoke where she is a member of the Skipperdees, plays bluegrass with old dudes, and performs her original folk and Americana songs.
