a.    Consider adopting the minutes from the February 13, 2023 Regular Business Meeting.

RECEIVE A PRESENTATION FROM ADAM CAMPBELL, VDOT DISTRICT PLANNER, ON W. MAIN STREET IMPROVEMENTS AND VDOT FUNDED BROAD STREET CORRIDOR IMPROVEMENTS.

CONSIDER INTRODUCING THE FOLLOWING APPROPRIATION ORDINANCES TOTALING $563,954:

a.    $497,000 of assigned fund balance to the school board for school renovations. 

b.    $66,954 of restricted fund balance for the Fire Department to the General Fund.

CONSIDER ADOPTING THE FOLLOWING APPROPRIATION ORDINANCES TOTALING $367,926:

a.    $303,908 for various grants and school expenditures to the School Operating Fund.

b.    $34,860 of contributions from the SAW region for CAD resource software to the General Fund.

c.    $24,863 of State Library Aid to the General Fund.

d.    $2,505 of training reimbursement for the Police Department to the General Fund.

e.    $1,250 of sponsorship revenue for the Parks and Recreation Department to the General Fund.

f.    $540 of recovered costs for the Police Department to the General Fund.

CONSIDER INTRODUCING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY CODE REGARDING PARKING FINES AND SET A PUBLIC HEARING FOR MONDAY, MARCH 13, 2023.

CONSIDER APPOINTING A CANDIDATE TO THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY BOARD FOR AN UNEXPIRED FOUR-YEAR TERM ENDING AUGUST 31, 2023.
