PUBLIC HEARING – REZONE PROPERTY AT 0 TIFFANY DRIVE:


Hold a public hearing to receive public comments and consider introducing an ordinance regarding a request from Riverbend Development, on behalf of Rosser Avenue Development LLC, to rezone a property at 0 Tiffany Drive, Waynesboro, Virginia, City tax map no. 41-3-112, currently zoned RS-12 (Single-family Residential) and H-B (Highway Business), to RG-5 (General Residential) and R-MF (Multi-family Residential).

PUBLIC HEARING AND RESOLUTION – WAYESBORO COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) ENTITLEMENT COMMUNITIES 2020 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN:


Hold a public hearing to receive comment and consider adopting a resolution approving the Waynesboro CDBG Entitlement Communities Federal Fiscal Year 2020 Annual Action Plan (AAP) and authorizing the City Manager, on behalf of the City of Waynesboro, to file the AAP with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

CODE AMENDMENTS – THE CODE OF THE CITY OF WAYNESBORO, VIRGINIA CHAPTER 18 BUILDINGS AND BUILDING REGULATIONS AND CHAPTER 78 TAXATION:


a. Consider introducing An Ordinance Amending and Restating Articles I and II of Chapter 18;  and
b. Consider introducing An Ordinance Adopting Article III of Chapter 18 and Article XI of Chapter 78

APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE – VIRGINIA TOURISM CORPORATION GRANTS:


Consider introducing and adopting an ordinance appropriating funds and amending the budget for two Virginia Tourism Corporation Grants in the amount of $12,572, to the General Fund, to reimburse for advertising expenditures in the Tourism Department.

APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE – ADDITIONAL POLICE VEHICLES:


Consider introducing and adopting an ordinance appropriating funds and amending the budget in the amount of $750,000 from the CARES act to the General Fund to be used to provide add additional police cars to reduce the risk of COVID-19 contamination of both employees and citizens.

APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE – VALLEY COMMUNITY SERVICES BOARD (VCSB):


Consider introducing an ordinance appropriating funds and amending the budget in the amount of $200,000 to the from the CARES Act to the General Fund to provide funding to Valley Community Services Board for homeless populations to mitigate COVID-19 effects and enable compliance with COVID-19 health precautions.

APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE – EDA GRANTS TO NON-PROFITS:


Consider introducing an ordinance appropriating funds and amending the budget in the amount of $150,000 from the CARES Act to the General Fund for a Non-Profit sustainability program to be administered by the Waynesboro Economic Development Authority.
