Impulse-GSC – Dance hall permit and Conditional Use Permit:

Consider approving an application for a dance hall permit and second consideration/adoption of an ordinance regarding a request by Kevin S. Morris-Lewis, representative of Impulse-GSC, to allow bars and nightclubs use in the L-B Local Business District at 101 East Main Street, Waynesboro, Virginia, City Tax Map number 46-2-1-B.

Receive a presentation by Deputy City Manager Jim Shaw regarding local government finances.

TRICK OR TREAT TRAIL STREET CLOSURE APPLICATION:

Consider approving an application from Downtown Waynesboro to close a portion of Main Street and Wayne Avenue on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 from 2:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. to hold the annual Halloween Trick & Treat Trail and Costume Contest.

HARVEST DINNER AT SUNSET APPLICATION:


Consider approving an application from the Parks and Recreation Department for permission to serve alcoholic beverages at the Harvest Dinner at Sunset on Saturday, October 6, 2018 during the fundraiser dinner for Sunset Park.

7. PLANNING COMMISSION APPOINTMENTS:
Consider appointing two candidates to the Planning Commission, each for a four-year term of September 1, 2018 ending August 31, 2022.

8. REGIONAL YOUTH COMMISSION APPOINTMENTS:  
Consider reappointing a member to a three-year term and consider appointing a candidate to the Regional Youth Commission for a three-year term of September 1, 2018 ending August 31, 2021.

9. REDEVELOPMENT AND HOUSING AUTHORITY BOARD REAPPOINTMENTS:
Consider reappointing two members each for a four-year term to the Waynesboro Redevelopment and Housing Authority Board.

ORDINANCE – POLICE DEPARTMENT FLOORING REPLACEMENT:

Consider introducing an ordinance appropriating $29,174 of insurance proceeds to the General Fund, for flooring replacement at the Police Department.
