August 27, 2018 Regular Business Meeting Minutes:

Consider approving and dispense with the reading of the minutes.

Police Department Flooring Replacement ($29,174).

SUNSET PARK – PRESENTATION:

Presentation of Sunset Park Development Project by Director of Parks and Recreation Dwayne Jones.

GENERAL FUND CAPITAL PROJECTS – PRESENTATION:

Presentation of active capital projects by Deputy City Manager Jim Shaw.

ORDINANCE: COURTHOUSE SECURITY UPGRADES:

Consider appropriating a portion of the Courthouse Security Reserve, in the amount of $7,315, to the General Fund, for upgrades to the walk-through and handheld metal detectors in the courts.

BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS:

7. PLANNING COMMISSION APPOINTMENTS:
Consider appointing two candidates to the Planning Commission, each for a four-year term of September 1, 2018 ending August 31, 2022.

8. VALLEY COMMUNITY SERVICES BOARD APPOINTMENT:  
Consider appointing a candidate to the Valley Community Services Board for an unexpired three-year term ending June 30, 2020.
