Public Hearing – Rezone 1040 Reservoir Street

Hold a public hearing to receive public comment on a request by Mr. Jacob Turner to change the zoning of 1040 Reservoir Street from RG-5, general Residential, to R-MF, Multi-Family Residential.

Department Update – Waynesboro Public Library

Receive an update from Library Director Kevin Osborne.


9.

Department Update – Parks and Recreation

Receive an update from Parks and Recreation Director Dwayne Jones.

Resolution – South River Greenway Phase IV

Consider adopting a resolution supporting the City’s application to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Transportation Alternatives Program in the amount of $550,000 in order to construct the South River Greenway Phase IV.  The City’s required grant match would be $110,000.

Resolution – Personal Property Tax Relief Act (PPTRA) 2021

Consider adopting a resolution establishing the rate of relief for tax year 2021, as required by the Personal Property Tax Relief Act.


12.

APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE – CONSIDER INTRODUCING THE FOLLOWING ORDINANCES

a.    $80,000 of fund balance to the School Board Operating Fund for capital expenses at Wayne Hills Center and Kate Collins Middle School

b.    $4,831 of restricted fund balance from the Circuit Court Document Copy reserve to the General Fund.

APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE – CONSIDER INTRODUCING AND ADOPTING THE FOLLOWING ORDINANCES

a)    $30,440 of CARES Act and Greer Set Aside funding to the School Funds.

b)    $16,681 of Title III Grant funds to the School Funds.

c)    $9,000 for the Fuel Up to Play 60 Grant to the School Funds.

d)    $8,380 of CTE State Equipment Allocations to the School Funds.

e)    $3,966 of Workplace Readiness Grant Funds to the School Funds.

f)    $2,600 of Perkins Grant funds to the School Funds.

g)    $2,000 for the Project Hope Grant to the School Funds.

h)    $1,500 of Valley Alliance for Education to the School Funds for Creative Teachers Classroom Grant.

i)    $1,000 of Valley Alliance for Education to the School Funds for the Teacher of the Year Grant.

j)    $1,000 donation from Target to the School Funds.

k)    $250 of Virginia Tourism Corporation Marketing Leverage Grant to the General fund.
