Council Meeting Minutes:

Consider approving the November 26, 2018 Council Meeting minutes and the November 30, 2018 Council Retreat minutes, and dispense with the reading of the minutes.
2.b.

Second consideration/adoption of previously-introduced ordinances:

Conditional Use Permit for 1035 Fairfax Avenue, Waynesboro Area Refuge Ministry.
City Code Amendment Chapter 78: Taxation.

PRESENTATION – CAFR:


Receive a presentation from Didawick & Company regarding the City’s Comprehensive Annual Financial report (CAFR) for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2018.

PRESENTATION – ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND TOURISM STRATEGIC PLAN:


Receive a presentation from Greg Hitchin, Director of Economic Development and Tourism, on the Economic Development and Tourism strategic plan, reviewing the current goals plus near-term and long-term key strategic initiatives.

PRESENTATION - FIRST QUARTER FINANCIAL REPORT:

 
Receive the Fiscal Year 2019 First Quarter Financial Report.

APPROPRIATION ORDINANCES:

7.a.

Police Department Fitness Equipment:

Appropriating a portion of the State Seizure Fund restricted fund balance in the amount of $6,000 to transfer to the General Fund, to purchase replacement fitness equipment at the Police Department.

Appropriating a Project Hope Grant in the amount of $25,000 to the School Funds for salaries, materials, and transportation costs.

Appropriating a Title III Immigrant Children & Youth Grant in the amount of $3,073 to the School Funds for materials and supplies.

Appropriating Title III No Child Left Behind Grant in the amount of $48 to the School Funds to be used to purchase materials and supplies.
