Public Works at Riverfest

The City is hosting a T-shirt design contest to celebrate "Public Works at Riverfest 2020". The winning design will be worn by Public Works staff during the event on Saturday, April 25, 2020 from 10 am to 4:30 pm. The event takes place river-side at Constitution Park.

How Do I Participate?

Submissions should be placed here by Tuesday, March 10, 2020 and the winner will be selected on Friday, March 13, 2020. 

What Should I Design?

The design should be the individual’s interpretation of "Public Works". These ideas could include the following:

• Vehicles and Equipment
• Utilities (Water and Sewer)
• Recycling
• Stormwater
• Engineering (Bridges and Roadways)

What Does Public Works Do at Riverfest?

Public Works presents hands-on displays exploring the vital role of Public Works in our community and how we add to the health of the South River and the Chesapeake Bay.
