POSTPONED:

This meter replacement work has been POSTPONED pending further direction from Governor Northam on Non-Essential Work with respect to COVID-19.

How Long will Meter Replacement Last?

The Contractor will be making meter changeouts from March 23, 2020 to approximately June 1, 2020.


What Areas of the City will the Contractor be working in?

Downtown, W. Broad St. Adventure Trail, Village Dr.

Washington Ave., Jefferson Ave., Woodrow Ave., Lyndhurst Rd. and Club Ct.

Governor’s Way, Pelham Dr., Meadow Beauty Ct. areas and Charleston Park.

Walnut Ave and Locust Ave.

Port Republic Rd. Fontaine St. , Smith St, Alpha St. , Beta St., Shiloh, Highland, Grayson, Bridge, Fairfax Ave’s.

S. Charlotte, S. Bath Ave’s. N. Bayard Ave. E. Main St. 100-300 Blocks of S. Delphine Ave., 200-300 Blocks of S. Winchester Ave. , Elkin Ave. Elkin Circle, Forest Ave., E. 11th St.

Ana Marie Estates.


Why are Meters being replaced?

Meter replacement is an essential piece of the city’s infrastructure management allowing for accurate accountability of water consumption throughout the city.
