Street Closure for Installation of New 10" Water Mainline beginning Tuesday, January 19th

The Water Division will be installing a new 10" Water Mainline in the 600 Block of S. Magnolia Avenue

The street will be closed to through traffic in the 600 Block of S. Magnolia Avenue from 14th Street to the entrance of Ridgeview Park on Monday - Friday, from 7 am to 3pm during active construction. Detours will be in place around the construction area.


Where do I park if I live in the construction area?

Residents who use street parking in the 600 Block of S. Magnolia Avenue may park on the EVEN ADDRESS side of the street during construction hours (M-F, 7 am to 3pm).


Will my water be off at any time during installation of the Water Mainline?

Water service will be OFF on Tuesday, January 19th in the 600 Block of S. Magnolia Avenue to make a new Mainline Tie-In to start the project.


What can I do to prevent cloudy or discolored water after the tie-in is finished?

It is helpful to run water from your outside spigot for 10 - 15 minutes AFTER the water is turned back on. This may help to avoid cloudy or discolored water from entering your hot water heater or commodes.


What other day might water be off if the tie-in is delayed?

A Make Up Day has been scheduled for Wednesday, January 20th to perform the Mainline tie-in should there be a delay.
