LEGO Build

Calling all builders! Open building time for all skill levels, with LEGO bricks and minifigures provided. What will you create? Ages 6-12. No registration required.

The Psychology of Gossip with Dr. Randall Young

11:30 am – 1 pm

This presentation looks at how the roles of gossiper, target of gossip and receiver of gossip

relate to social status in a group. Is gossip always negative and, if not, what social

functions does it serve? How does gossip relate to reputation? Registration required.

Scrabble Club

Calling all Scrabble enthusiasts! Our club welcomes players of every skill level, from beginner to expert. The club is open to anyone aged 12 or older, and while registration is encouraged, it's not required.

Canva for Beginners

Learn about Canva, an online graphic design tool that can help you make flyers, social media posts, logos, and much more. Canva is free to use and fun to learn. The class will provide an opportunity to learn basic tools, ask questions, and experiment. Presented by WPL's graphic design and marketing staff.

Memory Partners

This is a safe space for people living with dementia and their caregivers to attend together. This month we will virtually travel to Costa Rica to see sea turtle nesting and how coffee is made. Offered in partnership with VPAS.

Craft Supply Swap

Have too many supplies for a craft you don't want anymore? Bring your new or in good condition craft supplies to the library the week of March 8-15, to receive coupons to use at the Craft Swap.

Wildlife Center

Learn all about Virginia's native wildlife, and meet some of the Wildlife Center's education animals! All ages. No registration required.

Craft Club

Seed and Plant Swap

10 am – 1pm

Have too many seeds or plants to use? Bring them to the library for our plant and seed swap, and get some new plants or seeds! Hemp and similar seeds and plants will not be accepted or allowed in this swap or in the building.
