This is a group for family caregivers to enjoy simple art creation while conversing with other caregivers. This is a great chance to connect with others and to learn crafts that are easy to replicate at home with your loved ones. Offered in partnership with VPAS.

Street Arts Walking Tour

Memory Partners

Ghosts of Staunton Talk

Join us this October for Paranormal Adventures as ghost tour guides and paranormal investigators from Black Raven Paranormal and the Ghosts of Staunton Ghost Tours will share some of their ghostly experiences and encounters from their tours and investigations in the field. Dragons In Literature

Leftenant Blackwolf, Professor Wild Ridge, and Celyn the Red Dragon will read an original storybook written by Leftenant Blackwolf as well as highlight the importance and purpose of some of your favorite literary Dragons. Library Mascot Design Lab

Calling all kid artists! WPL needs a library mascot, and we need your help to design it. Submit your best creature drawing to our Library Mascot Contest, and the winning design will be turned into a custom plushie from Budsies.

Join us at the Library Mascot Design Lab to get started on your design. If you can't make it to the Design Lab, or need more time, don't worry! Entry forms can be picked up at the children's desk starting Monday, October 23, and can be turned in until November 30. All entries will be on display in our display case during November and December.

A winner will be chosen in the new year, and will receive a plushie made from their winning design. (We'll have one made for ourselves, too!) Ages 2-12.

Silent Disco

Enjoy a night of dancing with your friends and family hosted at Rosenwald Community Center! Three different music stations will be broadcasted through headphones. You control your volume and channel.
