[ARCHIVED] Man Charged with Child Pornography

David Wesley Lochner

The Waynesboro Police Department charged a city man with four felony counts of knowingly possess child pornography after a search warrant executed at his home last December yielded nearly 300 explicit images of young boys. On December 11, 2014, detectives and police officers armed with a search warrant went to the home of David Wesley Lochner, 78 years old. The Police Department was tipped off by a computer technician who had been hired by Lochner to fix a problem with his computer. The technician found the files during the house call and reported them to police. Detectives seized two laptops and a flash drive during the search warrant. Over the past several weeks, all of the images were reviewed by the Police Department and Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office.

Lochner surrendered himself to the police department yesterday morning. He was released on a personal recognizance bond.
