Waynesboro Parks and Recreation will be hosting the Coyner Springs Kite Fly on Saturday, September 26th from 10am-3pm. Come out and fly your kite. Don't have one? No problem! Free paper kites will be available at no charge. Decorate it however you'd like and then set it sailing. Watch as professionals fly their stunt kites..there may even be a choreographed kite routine or two throughout the day. If you want to take a break from looking skyward, take the kids on a horse ride or an old fashioned hay ride and pick up a pumpkin while you're at it. For even more fun, grab a bucket of apples and see how far you can chuck it with our Apple Sling! Bring your blanket, chairs and picnic and plan on spending the day at this free, family friendly event. Food and drink options will be available for purchase as well.
