The Virginia State Police is requesting assistance from the public to help identify a suspect in a series of attempted prescription frauds in mid-October. On Saturday, October 17, the suspect, likely a Caucasian male, went to three different emergency care facilities in the area in an attempt to get prescription narcotics. He was unsuccessful in all his attempts but law enforcement is still needing to identify him. An image of the suspect was captured by the surveillance system at the Waynesboro location at 6:30 PM on October 17.

The facilities he visited are:

• Augusta Health Urgent Care, 851 Statler Blvd, Staunton
• Augusta Health Emergency Department, Fishersville
• Augusta Health Urgent Care, 201 Lew Dewitt Blvd, Waynesboro
