[ARCHIVED] Assistance Needed to Identify Booze Bandits

The Waynesboro Police Department is requesting assistance from the community to help identify individuals involved in a theft of merchandise from a local business. On May 13, 2016 at approximately 6:00 PM, two suspects described as African American females in their late teens to early twenties entered the Virginia ABC Store, 125 Lucy Lane, with thievery on their mind. The women browsed around the aisles before selecting two bottles from the Tequila and Cordials section. They went to another aisle in the store where they put the bottles in a purse carried by one of the women. They then left the store with the $25.00 worth of liquor.

The suspects are described as follows:

Suspect #1

African America Female
Light skin
Slender
Brown Hair

Suspect #2
African America Female
Medium skin
Heavyset
Reddish Hair

If anyone has information as to the identity of this individual, please call the Waynesboro Police Department at (540) 942-6675 to speak with Officer R Figueroa or call Central Shenandoah Crime Stoppers at (800) 322-2017. Anyone who gives information that leads to an arrest of the offender can receive a cash reward.
