    Oversee the operation of the Waynesboro Public Library and to conduct its business in accordance with approved city personnel and budgeting practices and in coordination with the city manager. The Board shall have authority to appoint committees from its own membership and any citizen of the city. Meetings: Third Tuesday of each month except July and December – 4:00 p.m. - Waynesboro Public Library, main floor conference room, 600 S. Wayne Ave., Waynesboro.

    Readers ages 18 and up can complete reading activities to for a chance to a $50 gift certificate. To participate, pick up a Reading Takes You Everywhere BINGO card at the circulation desk. Complete any BINGO and turn in the card in exchange for change in the prize drawing.

  2. Children's Summer Reading Program

    Summer Reading Games 2018 The Summer Reading Progam returns June 1st! You can register online and download your Summer Reading Games BINGO card. Then starting June 1st you can complete the reading challenges with your little one. All instructions are included on BINGO card. You can also register and pick up your bingo card at any Valley Library location starting on June 1st. The reading program ends on July 31st.

  3. Harry Potter’s World: Renaissance Science, Magic, and Medicine

    The magic in J. K. Rowling’s series of Harry Potter novels is partially based on Renaissance traditions that played an important role in the development of Western science, including alchemy, astrology, and natural philosophy. This special exhibit explores the intersection of these worlds, featuring highlights from the collections of the History of Medicine Division at the National Library of Medicine. This exhibition was developed and produced by the National Library of Medicine, National Institutes of Health.
