The Planning Department will be holding a public input meeting to learn more about residents' ideas and concerns for the lower Basic City area (west of Delphine Avenue). The meeting will be held at Wenonah Elementary School on Wednesday, January 30th at 7:00 PM. If you have comments, but can't attend, contact the Planning Department at 540.942.6604 or email@example.com.
This meeting is not connected to any immediate plans or projects, but is meant to help City officials better understand resident needs in the neighborhood as they look for ways to improve the area.

This traveling exhibit explores the story of George Washington’s own health and examines the ways in which he sought to safeguard the health and wellness of his family, staff, slaves, and troops. His story also illuminates the practice of medicine which was transitioning from a traditional healer craft to a profession during this time. This exhibition was developed and produced by the National Library of Medicine, National Institutes of Health with the Mount Vernon Estate and Gardens.
