Elected to City Council in 2008 and re-elected in 2012, 2016 and 2020. Mr. Allen was elected Vice Mayor July 2010, elected Mayor in July 2012 and re-elected Mayor in 2014 and 2016. Mr. Allen is a graduate from Waynesboro High and attended Blue Ridge Community College. He graduated the Central Shenandoah Criminal Justice Training Center in 1974 and again in 1986. Mr. Allen retired from the Waynesboro City Sheriff’s Department in 2004. He is currently employed as Property Manager for Good Faith, LLC.
